EAMCET 2009 Counselling dates and admission fees Update

EAMCET 2009 results are out, but the state government has not yet decided on the fee structure for the engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Officials indicated that the AP Higher education department would decide on a fee structure at a meeting on June 29th. Official that we spoke to was not sure even if that would be a confirmed date as the Higher education department continues to run with without a principal secretary post lies vacant since the recent reshuffle in the AP State Government.

While the state government official has indicated to us that earlier that the EAMCET 2009 counselling and admissions would be held from July 8th to 26th, this is still a tentative date and is dependent on the decision to finalize the fee structure. AP Higher education department has decided to move forward and setup the 42 helpline centers to facilitate online admissions and provide passwords for the students to get started on the counselling and admissions steps.
