Institute of Medical Sciences & SUM Hospital has been set up in 2003 and Govt. of India through Health and Family Welfare Department permit to take admission for MBBS from the academic session 2007-08.ITER was established in the academic year 1996-97 to offer Engineering (B. Tech. & M.Tech.) and MCA programmes , IBCS in 1998-99 to offer MBA programme, SPS in 2003-04 to offer B. Pharma programme, SHM in 2003-04 to offer degree programme in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, SNC in 2003-04 to offer B.Sc. (Nursing) programme, SNS in 2003-04 to offer GNM (Diploma in Nursing) with approval of AICTE and INC, New Delhi , IDS has been permitted to offer BDS programme in 2006-07 & IHSE in 2006-07 for +2 Science. IMS the recent addition in the list has been permitted to offer MBBS programme in 2007-08 vide GOI Letter No. 12012/84/2004-ME (P-II).
