A fatherly figure Anna Saheb Late Dr. G. D. Bendale was the chairman of the Society for the last forty five years, and with his benevolent blessings, the society runs various renowned institutions such as College of Education & Post Graduation ,S. S. Maniyar Law College, I.T.I medical and Research Center etc.

Institute of Management & Research has been recognized by AICTE New Delhi and is affiliated to North Maharashtra University, since its inception. Earlier up to 1991-92 the Institute was affiliated to University of Pune.
The Institute conducts various courses Viz., MBA, MCM, MPM, MCA, MMS, DCA, DBM, DMM, DMEIM, DCM, CCIT, and ADSTM. The Institute uniqueness includes: emphasizes on quantitative techniques, Management Information System and intensive use of use method and cross-cultural perspective on management.
