SUNY Downstate is the sole academic medical center located in the heart of one of our nation’s largest, most ethnically diverse, working class, urban communities. Founded in 1971, Empire State College, State University of New York, is one of the university’s 13 colleges of arts and sciences, accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. We are uniquely designed to serve adults pursuing associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Founded in 1913, SUNY Delhi has experienced tremendous growth over the past decade, reaching a record enrollment of nearly 3,000 students. The basic objective of Shear Ego International School of Hair Design is to offer men and women interested in a career in Cosmetology and Hair Dressing, Esthetics, Nail Technology or Barbering, the opportunity for an education with a curriculum directed towards the highest standards of excellence.

Founded in 1926 by the third Bishop of Brooklyn, Thomas E. Molloy, the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception has prepared more than 1,500 priests for the Dioceses of Rockville Centre, and Brooklyn, and as well as the East Coast Province of the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians). Additionally, it has awarded nearly 600 graduate degrees in the areas of Theology and Pastoral Ministry.

Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) exist in New York State to help school districts better serve their students. School districts throughout New York State depend on BOCES to meet their educational and financial goals by developing shared programs that serve children from all districts regardless of enrollment, income or size of tax base.
