The Delta-Montrose Technical College (DMTC) is a public institution governed by the Delta County Joint School District #50 Board of Education. Funding for our programs comes from Federal, State, and local sources. We are designated by the Colorado State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education as the agent for postsecondary vocational training in Western Colorado. Our service area includes Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel counties.

Empire Education Group implemented a Direct Lending Program, funded through the government’s U.S. Department of Education, to offer potential Empire Beauty School students additional financing options toward their secondary education.

Yo San University, a non-profit organization, educates students to become exceptional practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Taoist healing arts. The eleven Yo San test-takers who traveled to Sacramento in August 2008 with YSU Dean Steven Carter for the California Board Exam all passed!
